Melina Shahbazian is the owner and founder of Shahbazian Law, APC, a boutique personal injury and civil litigation firm. Mrs. Shahbazian completed her undergraduate degree at California State University, Northridge, majoring in English and minoring in Political Science. She served as the President of the CSUN Chapter of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, a national honors organization that recognizes and elevates high-achieving students. She was also an active member of the Business Law Association, a student run organization intended to promote and advance the studies and fields of law. Furthermore, while working on her undergraduate studies, Mrs. Shahbazian served as a Judicial Intern to Honorable Judge Randy Rhodes at the Van Nuys Superior Court.
Then Mrs. Shahbazian attended University of La Verne, College of Law, where she was a scholarship recipient. Throughout her law school journey, Mrs. Shahbazian maintained her passion for volunteering and being involved in the community. Mrs. Shahbazian served as a Judicial Clerk to Honorable Judge Gregory Keosian at the Appellate Division of the Los Angeles Superior Court and as a Judicial Extern at the Riverside City Attorney’s Office. Mrs. Shahbazian also volunteered over 500 hours with the Neighborhood Legal Services at the Van Nuys Superior Court assisting litigants with Family Law and Unlawful Detainer matters. Further, she volunteered numerous hours at the Homeless Court in Los Angeles, where she assisted unhoused individuals or individuals at risk of experiencing homelessness clear traffic and pedestrian tickets by engaging in services instead of paying fines.
With nearly a decade of experience as a civil litigator, including several years spent defending insurance companies, businesses and individuals, Mrs. Shahbazian has a unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge that sets Shahbazian Law apart. Mrs. Shahbazian has handled numerous personal injury cases from inception to resolution, and specifically has focused on cases involving catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and elder abuse and neglect.
